Visual radio first. Your media when you want it.
Start with free visual radio: reactive visualisers, ambient scenes, artwork and lyrics. Add your own compatible sources for channels, films and series. GreyStream supplies the player, never the content.
Radio player - discover, listen, visualise Free to use
Not a trial and not a teaser. Radio works before Premium, during it, and after it lapses.
Search two curated directories
Find stations by name, or browse and sort by country and genre. Your country preferences keep the results that matter to you close at hand.
Your own stations
Paste any stream URL. Or keep a radio-only M3U list, which GreyStream will refuse to put in the Channels slot by mistake.
Full-screen visualisers
Six of them - Spectrum, Wave, Soundline, Circles, Tunnel and Singularity - most with variants of their own.
Two scene collections
Escape, twenty-four photographed places weighted by time of day, and Aura Drift, abstract colour that follows your palette.
Artwork and lyrics
Album art and time-synced lyrics where the station broadcasts enough information to find them. Both are off until you switch them on in Radio settings.
Sleep timer
Set it and forget it. The remaining time sits under the clock so you can see it from the sofa.
A quieter kind of screen
Not every screen needs to ask for attention. Mute the television and switch the visualiser off, then hold one scene or let a collection drift through a gentle Ken Burns slideshow. Two curated collections come with the app: Escape, photographed places, and Aura Drift, abstract colour and light that follows the palette you pick.
Channels Premium
Fast navigation, useful guide details and less waiting between channels.
Groups in your order
Pick the countries you care about and their groups come first, everywhere - channels, films and series alike. Hide the rest entirely if you would rather not see them.
Now and next
The highlighted channel shows what is playing and what follows it, from your playlist's guide data. A simple guide, not a full listings grid.
Search across everything
One search over every channel the active source offers, not just the group you happen to be in. It covers the source that is active, rather than every one you have saved.
Preview while you browse
The highlighted channel plays in the corner while you keep moving, so you can tell what something is without committing to it.
Ten sources at once
Keep up to ten compatible media sources configured together and switch between them whenever you like.
Favourites and recents
Both sit at the top of the list and gather channels from every playlist, so switching source is one click, not a reload.
Films and series Premium
Bring your media playlists. Play it your way.
Posters, plots and cast
Whatever the configured source supplies is shown properly rather than as a filename.
Continue watching
Picks up where you stopped, and for a series it remembers which episode - dropping off the row once you finish it.
Everything in one list
An "All" view that sweeps every category, so search reaches titles you have not browsed to yet.
Set up from your phone or PC
Scan and type
A code on the television opens a page on your phone or tablet, already filled in. On a PC, type the device ID and PIN into any browser instead. Nothing to install and no account to create.
Test before you save
The companion page checks your credentials against the source and tells you which addresses answered.
Syncs in a second
Save on the phone and the television updates itself. If it is not listening, the page says so rather than pretending.
Move it to a new television
A Premium licence covers one television, and you can move it to another yourself from the companion page. Your sources and stations can come with it. Changed your mind about which set to use? The first move has no wait.
Made to be lived with
A sorting assistant
Hundreds of groups arrive in no particular order. Pick your countries once and yours come first everywhere - channels, films, series and radio.
Three mirrors, ranked by speed
A login-based source can carry up to three server addresses. Ping them and GreyStream lists them fastest first, then makes the quickest one primary.
Sixteen languages
Including right-to-left layouts, not just translated strings. If yours is missing, ask - we will look at adding it in a future release.
Display size
Four sizes. Everything scales together - a television is read from across a room, not from a desk.
Appearance
Frame corners and thickness, wallpaper and shading, so it can be as plain or as present as you like.
Built for the remote
Every screen is a focus ring and a d-pad. Nothing needs a pointer, and nothing is buried three menus deep.
